GLOBUS will go on!

On November 11, 2009, the Board of Directors of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria agreed to continue the GLOBUS project for two more years - until December 31, 2011. The aim of the project remains the same - to promote an effective national strategy for combating HIV and AIDS and implementing the principles of the strategy in ten regions of Russia: Krasnoyarsk Krai; Tomsk, Orenburg, Pskov, Nizhny Novgorod, Vologda and Tver regions, the republics of Buryatia and Tatarstan, St. Petersburg.

As part of the further project implementation, the "FOCUS-MEDIA" Foundation will work with the new for us target groups - adult and juvenile inmates in Russian prisons, and men who have sex with men (MSM).

We will continue to work closely with our long-term partners -- AIDS Foundation East-West (AFEW) and the Center for Social Development and Information (PSI).
